Description:
An easy trail with a slight incline leads up the 647-foot summit to a lighthouse established in 1909. It is still in operation and owned by the U.S. Coast Guard. One of the most popular times to visit is in winter; this is a great spot for seasonal whale watching. Adam Sandler fans might recognize the lighthouse as the backdrop in one of the scenes in "50 First Dates."
